Stopping the start–fail cycle?
Some days I feel like I’m finally getting my act together, and then the very next morning I’m back to scrolling on my phone instead of doing the things I planned. It’s like I can’t get past that first burst of motivation — I start strong, fall off within days, and then feel dumb for trying again. If anyone’s managed to break that loop, I’d honestly love to know what helped, because I’m tired of restarting every week.

I used to bounce between systems nonstop, always expecting some perfect structure to magically fix my habits. What actually helped wasn’t a big overhaul but making the first step ridiculously small — like “write for two minutes.” Once I stopped chasing perfection, it got easier to stick with things. Reading through the liven also helped me realize a lot of people deal with the same mental blocks. When I lowered the pressure, the consistency finally improved.
